  1. Congratulations! That’s an awesome achievement for you and your blog. I’ve chosen to comment the favourite thing I have sewn so far; and that is such a hard one to choose… I would say my Great Kilt, but because that is a non-sewing project and has to do more with folding techniques, I’d go for my Outlander costume :). You can see it here: https://baytreecostumes.wordpress.com/2015/08/15/how-to-make-an-outlander-costume-part-2-claires-jacket-bodice/ Thanks for the opportunity Abigail!

      1. Hey, I’ve been moderating the entries and for some reason on rafflecopter your entries didn’t show up. To get the points, you have to log in with your email and name and then click the “I Entered” button when you click each task. Maybe you forgot to click that button? I’ll look into it so that you can get your entries. 🙂

      2. Hi! Please ignore my comment that I wrote earlier about your entries. I think you entered, if you are entered under Katherine. Are you entered under Katherine? Thanks!

      3. It should be correct… When I go on rafflecopter it doesn’t let me change anything, but I don’t know…

      4. Ok, please ignore my comments earlier. Your entries are showing up. I may have seemed really nosy, and I’m sorry, I just wanted to make sure you got your votes in.

Thanks so much the Abigail for hosting this giveaway, and to Fabricworm for sponsoring!

  4. I should have read the Rafflecopter instructions first shouldn’t I? I think the quilts I made for both my daughters on their 18th birthdays are my favourite things – even though they took me ages and I had to wrap them up unfinished and ask for them back to complete them :/

  5. Hooray! Congratulations~!

I think this may be the first one I’ve entered. I’m going to go ahead and re-blog this today if you don’t mind, love. I’m sure there are others who are interested! If I win I hope to make a shirtwaist dress with this lovely fabric here: http://www.fabricworm.com/plockade-summer.html
But, there are so many options! Oh, I hope I can choose. Dresses are a sewing favorite for me, so either way that’s what it has to be! Second would be shirts. 😁

Thanks again for the give away my dear!

  6. Grats on your 10,000 views and thank you and FabricWorm for hosting the giveaway. 🙂 My favorite thing I’ve sewn so far was the first thing I ever sewed. A pillow in home ec. so many years ago. It came out so pretty I was so proud of it lol. The front was constructed like a quilt block, and the back a solid piece of fabric. I chose big floppy lace for the outside. One thing I regretted was that the teacher wouldn’t let me stuff it to the firmness I wanted which was softer.. The dang thing ended up stuffed up hard as a rock and was designated a deco-only pillow since it was insanely uncomfortable to use for anything. 🙂

  7. Bah forgot to say what I’d most likely use the card for and can’t edit sorry! I would either get fabric for a knitting needle/crochet hook case I want to put together. (the fabric I want is out of stock there! sob..) Possibly fabric for pajamas I want to make.

  8. Hi, my favorite thing I ever sewed was a collared white shirt with buttons. I made it in my high school advanced clothing construction class. It was so hard and frustrating at the time to make, but I was very proud of it when it was finished.. and still am to this day. It still stands out in my mind almost 15 years later.

  9. Fabricworm has some beautiful fabric. I always wanted to try my hand at sewing my own lingerie, panties, shorts, etc. I think I would probably use the gift card to buy some fabric for that.

  10. Hi Abigail, I had a little problem with the entries. Yesterday it was supposed to be 6/11 but now it was back to 4/11 and the daily entries were glitching a bit yesterday as well. So I guess I might not be making this one :). Good luck to everybody!

    1. I’m soon sorry! However, I have a solution. As the moderator of the giveaway, I’m able to input entries. So, I’ll manually input entries under your name so that you can still be in the contest. I’m so sorry this happened, but it should be working once I manually input them. It won’t tell you that you entered, but you’ll still be in. Thanks for letting me know!

    2. Hi! I’m sorry for replying to this again. All of your entries are showing up when I moderate them. I’m not sure why it isn’t working for you but I assure you that all of your daily entries are showing up. I’m really sorry about the confusion, but I hope I was able to fix it.

      1. Hi Abigail! Thank you for your kind reply and your help. I checked to see if the entries were OK today, but they are back again to 4/11. But if they are showing when you check them, then that means it probably is a problem from my computer. The entries should be around 7/11 or 8/11. Again thanks! ~Ava

  11. 10,000 views! Happy day! I’ve entered the contest – good luck to us all. My favorite make since returning to sewing is my reversible apron (I did make a burgundy velvet formal in high school that was pretty sweet). With the gift certificate, I’d be looking for some a nice print or soft linen to make a peasant blouse. Probably something in blue. Thanks for the opportunity! 🙂

  12. My favorite thing that I have ever sewed is a dog toy for my grandmother’s dog. It was braided with felt, then I sewed the ends and added decorative stitch around the edges. My grandmother bought it from me, and her dog Kali loved it! Thank you for hosting!

  13. My favorite thing that I’ve sewn is a Christmas quilt. It was my first quilt and it turned out pretty good. I’m about to start my second quilt and I can’t wait to see how it turns out!

  14. Hello!
I just found this site and it looks great, i love it! 🙂
My favourite thing that i’ve sewn is a bb-8 costume (dress) and a small handbag (from wool and fabric). Now i’m entering a contest with a dress 😀 (that i still have to make). I would use the fabric for that dress.

  15. Hi Abigail, I totally forgot to comment what I’d do with the gift-card! I really want to buy a nice sewing pattern for a dress to actually start sewing the way I probably should be able to sew as well – which means not making my own patterns all the time ;). I hope they’ve got something 50’s inspired! I’d love to give the self-made dress to a friend of mine, she would love it. I do need a French Curve too.. But I’ll stick to the pattern(s) for now!
    With love, Ava.

      1. http://www.fabricworm.com/patterns1.html ! Oh, I see now that the costs for shipping outside of the USA and Canada is $23.95 for a flat envelope. That is about as much as the gift-card. It would be a shame if someone from Europe, like me, would have a chance to win it. I’d rather have other people enjoy that chance to spend it better. Thanks for the opportunity though and I wish everybody else all the luck! ~Ava

      2. I had no clue that they had patterns! I knew that the shipping would be pretty expensive, but I suppose if you think of the gift card as $25 off of your purchase, it seems ok.

  16. Yes of course! But since I could also buy maybe the same sort of patterns around here for the same price, it seems fairer if someone else could actually get more off their purchase than me. So I wouldn’t want to do that :).
