Finally, it’s the weekend–can I get an amen? I love Valentine’s Day. It’s such a sweet holiday. We should constantly tell our family & friends that we love them, but Valentine’s Day is a special holiday to go out of the way to show your love. I was watching Netflix & chilling a few days ago, and my fingers were itching for a project. I always come back to this heart pattern, they’re so much fun to make, so I whipped up a ton of hearts and made three heart chains.
Since I had two extra chains, I gave them to my mother as an early Valentine’s gift. ❤ These were super easy to make! And they aren’t just for Valentine’s Day–they look great as a decoration. You can also get pretty clever with the hearts–slip them in a card, put them in a mason jar…the possibilties are endless.
I’m pleased with the result, and since each chain took about three minutes, I’m sure I’ll make a ton of these! If you would like to crochet the hearts, here’s the pattern:
Ch 4. Work 3 tr (triple crochet) into first ch, 3 dc, ch 1, 1 tr, ch 1, 3 dc, 3 tr. Ch 3, sl st into center and fasten off.
If I’m being honest, I think Valentine’s Day should be a day to celebrate loving ourselves. 😉 Living is hard! We deserve chocolate. 😉 What do you do for Valentine’s Day? Let me know, I’m curious! Thank you for reading, and I hope you have a great day/night.
Omg so cute

Loved your cute little heart Abigail. My daughter’s name is Abigail too. She is 8. This month she got her own laptop and I have started talking to her about blogging about her sketches. I am going to show your blog to her.

I tried to learn how at one point, but I didn’t know how hard it would be to learn with one toddler and a baby on the way. They’re both toddlers now, so I might just have to pick it up again! We’ll see. 🙂
