Change Is Good

Change is always, always a good thing.I love change, even though it’s hard. Every now and then (more like every few months), I change my blog design, because I’m obsessed with change and a fresh design.

I’ve been thinking about this for months! My blog has been getting a ton of new followers and views, and it’s past time to start making my blog look more like a professional blog. Kate did a fantastic job redoing my blog, but one problem remained, like an itch that I couldn’t reach (this is getting dramatic, folks). My blog really needed a new theme.

I finally made the leap and chose a new theme. Since the header image Kate made me didn’t fit, I made a new one. Otherwise, everything else she did for my blog remains.

My blogging friend May Everly just changed her blog theme the other day (by the way, it looks amazing), and something inside my head snapped that I just wanted a change too.     1. Yeah, I should probably put up a background! I’m currently working on putting the final pieces together. 🙂 Thank you! By the way, is there any chance that the “Featured posts” slideshow wasn’t working? Whenever I go to my blog, the slideshow is just grey and doesn’t have pictures. I’m trying to figure out why it’s doing that and I was just wondering if you saw it too.

  4. Looks great! I love that theme….same one I have! The only problem I had with it was putting up featured images, so the slideshow at the top worked..so finally I took it off. I’m to forgetful, lol. Love the header, and all your graphics!

      1. Ya….I change it probably more than I should, but whatever! I’m always experimenting with the theme. BTW, I read you couldn’t get the old header to fir. If you go to picmonkey, I believe that you can resize photos, if that would help…I have to do it quite a bit because I make my graphics on Photoshop, and it automatically saves it GIANT!

  7. It looks really good! Although I’ve got to disagree with you a little … change is SOMETIMES good. Some things just weren’t meant to be changed … and the new, flashy thing isn’t always better than the old one. But this new theme? Definitely a good thing. 😀
