Mom, thank you for raising me to be strong, independent, and humble. Thank you for encouraging me when others would not, thank you for seeing the beauty in me when I cannot see it in myself, thank you for always smiling and being positive and having a joke to make me feel better. Thank you for loving me no matter what. Thank you for having high standards for me, so that I will always do my best. Thank you for encouraging me to workout and eat healthy and do yoga. And thank you for all the little moments–reading to me every day when I was younger, sewing me costumes, teaching me to have an imagination. Thank you for letting me try new hairstyles on your hair. Thank you for showing me how to reach for the stars.
