#StichingSanta–What I Got

Merry Christmas!!

My Stiching Santa parcel arrived on Saturday. I was so excited and could not wait to open it. This whole expirence has been just wonderful, watching the other bloggers making and buying presents, and picking out things for my  Secret Santa. Without further ado, here is what I got.

The wonderful lady that had me was Jen of letthesewingbegin.wordpress.com

Here is a picture of the contents.

First off if this beautiful plaid flannel fabric. I love flannel, so this was a great choice Jen! I don’t know what I’ll do with it currently, but I was thinking it would make a lovely infinity scarf.

This photo doesn’t do this fabric justice, it’s really lovely! I belive it’s flannel, but it has a cotton/linen feel to it.

Next is some yummy cocoa. I adore hot chocolote, especially after a cold day, so once it snows I can’t wait to use this!

I’m trying to build up a button collection, and these ones are adorable.

Lastly are these cute little pin cushions. One is for needles, the other for pins. If I’m correct, they’re handmade too! These will be really useful, one can always need more pin cushions!

Jen also included a paper of what was in the package. She wrote a lovely card as well, but admist the Christmas chaos I misplaced it–I’ll have to go looking.

Jen, thank you so much for everything! I love every single thing you got/made for me, it’s just perfect. And Sewchet, thank you for hosting this, it was really fun.

Even though Christmas is over, I have a whole month off of school, so I’ll get to use a lot of the things I got. In a couple days I hope to do a what-I-got post, but it will take some time to photograph everything. Here’s one sneak peak:

  1. Hi Abi, I’m so glad you glad my selections; I wanted to find items that matched your taste. I knew you’d love the flannel, and an infinity scarf would be cozy and warm for when winter finally arrives in our part of the world. Hope your Christmas was merry and wishing you a Very Happy New Year! Jen.

  3. Lucky girl! I immediately think of pyjama pants when I see plaid flannel but I am guessing there won’t be enough for those. It is lovely though and I’m sure you’ll make the most of it.
